Ronnie Saulter is the Senior Administrative Officer and Managing Editor of Caribbean Quarterly. Born in Galway Bay, in what she calls “the real Ireland,” she adopted Jamaica as her homeland thirty-four years ago. A trained psychologist, she began writing fiction in 2002, when a search for suitable texts on the Caribbean psyche led her to a deep exploration of the region’s literature. Her pen name Seanachai is Celtic for “storyteller.”
