Ellington’s career in theater began in 1970.
In 1998 the Jamaican government recognized her contribution
to the performing arts with an Order of Distinction,
Officer Class. Ms. Ellington’s acting credits
have spanned stage, radio, television and film.
The recipient of several nominations and accolades
for her various and diverse portrayals in theatre,
she has a Masters in Communication Studies from
the University of the West Indies.
